This short week was still too long.

spring break saturday
Spring Break is officially here.
Now, I'm not talking early-March-college-aged-spring-break… I'm talking about the pool opening in our courtyard and every weekend day is over 100 attractive 20-somethings getting drunk, sunburnt and each other's numbers.
OH!—Brother is buying a house about three miles east of downtown, so:
A. Spring Break will be no more. :(
2. No more walking to go out downtown. :(
3. YAY HOUSE! :)
IV. My shower-singing will be contained to the basement shower instead of bothering stranger-neighbors. :)
I feel like I am really into compound words today. It's super-cool.
Well, I'm 23 now. And I promised a birthday story:
So here it is.
… 3:30pm, 'Let's go to the park' … where we promptly passed out near a volleyball game for, oh, probably three hours.
Woke up in time to go to sushi. Free sake bombs? Thanks.

tgi… thursday?!
Damn you, time. You've screwed me again!
Speaking of Time, my dear four to six blog readers, you should probably read SCade's blog. She, unlike myself, has things to say. Not just stupid links to stupid photos.
Also, post script, I just finished the first season of Dexter and oh—my—. It's phenom.

wawkward wednesday
Cafe: Wednesday night.
He used to be married to a Chinese woman.
She was conceived in Alaska.
She knows how to make whips.
I think this should be some sort of reality mess.

Just when the week should end, I've got projects to finish.
But first: a shower, pizza rolls, an Izze, and then off to the cafe to work work work!
In other news, at saw Hamlet last night at NTC and it is phenom. Congrats to the Class of 2010 and the crew on such a great production.

spring is coming sunday
I think we're done with the snow. It was in the 60s today and it's supposed to be 70 on Tuesday. But it is Colorado, so you never know.
Updates:
I got a real job. Like, no more Office Boy Job. Like, nine to five and health benefits and I'm actually being paid. Which is a nice change. A very, very nice change. (By the way, the Kansas Association still owes me money from work in January. Just sayin).
So, I'm designing for a small, weekly newspaper. It's fun. We have yoga balls and green walls.
In spare time, I'm freelancing across the nation. Georgia, Mass and New York. And here in town. And Indiana. Oh boy. I'm busy.
Real life is tiring. And kind of scary.

monday blast from the past
Well, not-so-distant past…
I have the day off from the Office job and I'm reliving my former Mondays-at-Caribou. One dollar coffee… free refills… Oh yeah.

sunday workday (kinda)
How come every take-it-easy-night turns into street-meat-burrito-night?
And I'm trying to update my website for 2010.

whatta wednesday
Last night, went to the see the bull riders at the stock show. So, naturally, we had to enjoy some Colorado Kool Aid.
And of course that lead to a few more cold banquets at the cowboy bar.
Which evolved into dancing and a contest with the Coors rep girls to win free schwag.
All in all—my bro and I are the proud owners of a Coors box cowboy hat. And a deck of Coors cards. And Coors coozies. And Coors pens. And a Crown Royal boot-shaped shot glass. And a blinking red light. And coup-staging livers.
Which leaves me this evening designing with a giant cup of water (with tigers on it), drinking it out of a twisty monkey straw.

svu saturday
I don't think there is anything better than bowling a 58 under the name "Jenny from Da Block" …
Unless, it's waking up the next morning for a day of coffee, SVU, pizza rolls, Izze drinks and a bit of freelance design.

2010 tuesday
Holy hell. Montana invaded the Mile High for New Years … Ouch.
Happy 2010 everyone! And just remember… "In the end, it's all about enchiladas and hoofjobs"
